Annual Academic Scholarship for Grade 8 :
** St George’s College offers an annual academic scholarship for entry into Grade 8 for pupils who display proven ability.

** The scholarship examination is usually written in February every year, preceding the year of entry, for which the dates are widely advertised prior to the examination date.
** Pupils interested in writing the examination will be invited to submit their applications prior to the examination date.
** St George’s College, a top independent Port Elizabeth school, is offering an academic scholarship for entry into Grade 8 for pupils who display proven ability.
Applications should include the following :
** A completed application form (click here to download)
** A copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate
** A copy of the applicant’s 2016 end-of-year report
** A letter from the applicant motivating why he or she would like to attend St George’s College
** A short CV detailing sport and extra-mural activities and achievements
** These scholarships constitute a partial contribution towards fees.

Application for Admission :
This application is subject to acceptance by St George’s Preparatory and Pro-Primary School
The following documents must accompany this application form :
1. Certified copy of Birth Certificate of Pupil
2. Certified copy of Identity Document of EACH parent and/0r guardian.
3. Certified copies of Passport of pupil and EACH parent/and or guardian if not South African citizens
4. Copy of latest report from the pupils present school. If the mid-year report is not available at the time of submission, the previous year‘s December report should be submitted and the mid-year report to be forwarded as soon as it is available.(Not necessary for Grade 0 applicants to St George’s Pre-Prirnary)
5. Certified copy of pupil’s Study Permit – if not South African citizen.
6. Letter from Third Party (Employer/Grandparents) confirming responsibility for payment of school fees – if applicable.
7. Written confirmation and reports of any special educational needs of your child known to you. (Whether due to neurological barriers, hearing impairments, visual barriers, physical barriers, behavioural or emotional barriers or any other medically assessed special need)
8. Your application will not be considered if the above-mentioned documents do not accompany the application form
