Streetwise 5 – Sun City Competition Rules

** By entering this Competition and/or accepting any prize, all participants, entrants and winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below applicable to this Competition (“Rules”) and the General Promotional Competition Rules (“General Promotional Competition Rules”) applicable to promotional competitions run by KFC Proprietary Limited and/or its agencies (collectively, the “Organisers”) from time to time.

Competition Period

** The Competition will commence at 00:01 on 6 September 2016 and will end at 23:59 on 31 October 2016 (“Competition Period”).
** No entries will be permitted after 23:59 on 31 October 2016.

Eligible Entrants

In order to be eligible for participation in this Competition, an entrant must be :
** 18 (eighteen) years of age or older or, if younger than 18 (eighteen) years, be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent or legal guardian;

** willing to provide the Organisers with their personal information including, but not limited to, full name/s and surname, identity number, age, physical residential address and mobile telephone number;

** be in possession of a valid South African identity document or passport;
** a citizen or permanent resident currently living in South Africa or a foreigner legally residing in South Africa;
** personally hold a valid South African bank account;

** be in possession of a mobile cellular phone with a number duly registered in the name of the entrant, or the entrant’s legal guardian as the case may be; and
** undertake to abide by these Rules and the General Promotional Competition Rules,
** failing which the winner shall forfeit the prize on the grounds of ineligibility.

** Each entrant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in this Competition, he/she has full eligibility to do so.
** The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that entrants have met any or all of these eligibility requirements.

How To Enter

Entry into the Competition :
** To enter the Competition, entrants will be required to purchase a “KFC Streetwise 5 Meal” (“KFC Streetwise 5”) at any KFC outlet nationwide, during the Competition Period.
** The entrant will receive a 16 digit unique number (“unique number”) on their till slip in respect of the purchase.

** Entrants will be required to SMS the unique number to the following Unstructured Supplementary Service Data line (USSD)- *120*532*Unique code# and follow the prompts to enter.
** The entrant will be required to answer a maximum of 3 (three) simple questions about themselves, e.g. their gender, age group and the province they are resident in.
** Only 1 (one) SMS entry per till slip will be permitted.

** Multiple entries will be permitted, subject to each entry being submitted separately in respect of a new purchase of a KFC Streetwise 5 and provided that no person shall be entitled to more than one of the Spot Prizes described in clause 2.5 and no more than 2 (two) entries shall be permitted per entrant for each day in the Competition Period.

** Multiple entries will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning a prize.

** Use of the USSD will be charged at standard applicable cellular rates, being 20c (twenty Cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds, provided that the total cost of entry into the Competition will not exceed an amount of R1.50 (one Rand and fifty Cents).

Prize

Nature of Prize and Prize allocation :
** 1 (one) entrant stands a chance of winning a trip to Sun City to the value of R100,000 (one hundred thousand Rand) (“Grand Prize).

The Grand Prize includes :
** accommodation for 2 (two) adults and 4 (four) children who are under the age of 12 (twelve) years (“Children”) or 2 (two) Children and 4 (four) adults or 3 (three) Children and 3 (three) adults, at the Cascades Hotel in Sun City (“Cascades”) based on availability, for 3 (three) nights;

** the accommodation at the Cascades will be for 1 (one) luxury family room and 1 (one) standard luxury room

** return flights, where applicable;
** transfers to and from Sun City in respect of travel and participation in the activities described n clause 2.2.6;
** transfers to and from the airport, if applicable;

** activities (food, drinks and activities) to the value of R25,000 (twenty five thousand Rand) will be confirmed with the winner in advance, whereafter the winner will be responsible for any other costs over and above the agreed activities; and

** travel and personal insurance.
** Any alcoholic beverages will be for the winners account.
** The trip to Sun City must be taken between 1 December 2016 and 31 March 2017, failing which it will be forfeited.
