Terms And Conditions

** The Meg Your Day promotion is valid from the 15th of June 2017 until the 30th of September 2017. Vodacom reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time and will provide reasonable notice of such termination as the circumstances require.

** The promotion is open to customers on Prepaid, Contract and Hybrid tariff plans. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and any such amendment will be posted on Vodacom’s website within a reasonable period of such amendment taking effect.

1. In order to qualify for the promotion and redeem your Meg Your Day bundle for the day, you need to have a
i. Data bundle active of 100MB or larger (daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly bundles)
** these do not include free/reward bundles
** these include monthly data allocations as part of your tariff plan
ii. Data balance of larger than 0MB.

2. You can redeem a Meg Your Day data bundle once daily for the service of the day via the following channels:
** *111*634#
** My Vodacom App
** .vodacom.co.za

3. You can only use your Meg Your Day bundle for the chosen URL/ App/ Online service for the day.

4. The Meg Your Day bundle cannot be used to download the app for the specific partner. Downloads from your relevant app store will deplete from your other available data bundles/ consumer from your airtime balance/ charged at out-of-bundle rates.

** I.E. If you receive a Meg Your Day Facebook bundle, the Meg Your Day bundle cannot be used to download the Facebook app from the Play Store/ Apple Store, but only to use the Facebook service (website/app)

Downloads of the following platforms are not included in Meg Your Day :
** DSTV Now subscription and app download (data required)
** Supersport App download (data required)
** Youtube App download (data required)
** Facebook App download (data required)
** Takealot App download (data required)
** Pinterest App Download (data required)
** Instagram App Download (data required)
** 947, 702, KFM and Cape Talk App Downloads (data required)

5. If you click on a link that directs you out of the specified URL data usage, this will not deplete from your URL data bundle, but from your other data bundles/ or out-of-bundles data charges will apply.

6. App downloads for the relevant Meg Your Day services from Vodacom’s Vlive! Portal will be free (zero-rated) for Vodacom customers. Not all services featured as part of the Meg Your Day promotion will be downloadable from the Vlive Portal.

7. You stand a chance to redeem a free Meg Your Day bundle between 00:00 and 22:59 each day.
8. You can only use the Meg Your Day bundle for the chosen URL/ App/ Online service or the day.
9. Your Meg Your Day data bundle cannot be transferred.
10. The following will apply when you migrate your tariff plan

11. All data usage is subject to a fair usage policy and any extreme usage which may have an impact on the operation of our network may be monitored. Vodacom reserves the right to apply and implement protection measures to safeguard customers’ experience and the Vodacom network against abuse to ensure continuous service quality or sustainability of the service.

12. When using partner websites/apps/services, the terms and conditions of the partner’s website/app/service will apply.
13. Your Meg My Day data bundle cannot be used for international roaming.

14. Meg Your Day data bundles do not have associated out-of-bundle rates. The out-of-bundle rate of your tariff plan will apply.
15. All VOIP (voice over internet protocol) services will be excluded from the Meg Your Day data bundles.

16. The Meg Your Day data bundle will always expire at 23:59 on the day of allocation, independent of when it was allocated.
17. By opting in for the Meg Your Day data bundle. Customers agree to receive communication from Vodacom regarding more partner-specific/URL-specific data bundle.

18. The following customers are not eligible for the Meg Your Day promotion :
** Customers who have a data line (Mobile Broadband customers) will not qualify for the Meg Your Day promotion;
** Machine-to-machine customers will not qualify for the Meg Your Day promotion;
** Corporate Liable customers will not qualify for the Meg Your Day promotion;
** Customers who do not meet the criteria of having a paid-for data bundle of 100MB or larger in size and a data balance of larger than 0MB will not qualify for the Meg Your Day promotion.

19. If you share one data bundle between 2 or more SIM cards, you will receive one Meg Your Day allocation across all your SIM cards. In this case, only one opt-in is required. Any other numbers linked to your profile with standalone data bundles, will each receive a Meg Your Day allocation, but each number needs to opt-in separately.

20. Vodacom reserves the right to suspend the service in the event of suspected abuse where non-compliant devices as specified by the regulating body ICASA are being used on the Vodacom network

21. You can view the balance of your Meg Your Day bundle on the following channels :
** USSD (*111#)
** The My Vodacom App
** Vodacom Online Portals (.vodacom.co.za and .vodacom.mobi)

22. Only once you have received an allocation SMS will your Meg Your Day bundle be active. Redemption from the My Vodacom App does not guarantee successful allocation of the bundle.
23. The Meg Your Day data bundles will be allocated in full with no proration.
