Admissions Step-by-Step Guide for Parents :
Parents who wish to apply for admission of their children to Rand Park High School must follow these 3 steps:Step 1 :
Admissions Criteria :
** In order to qualify for admission to Rand Park High School, please read over the admissions criteria and policy.
School Entrance Criteria :
** Admission is totally dependent on the availability of accommodation.
** English is the medium of instruction and therefore learners must be able to benefit from instruction in this medium.
** All required documentation must accompany the application form in order for the application to be eligible for consideration. Details of the documentation required will be provided on the application form.
** Having determined the average age per standard, we do not permit learners to differ from the average age by more than 3 years.
** Parents will pay the school fees as determined annually by the Govering Body (in compliance with the SA Schools Act).
** Learners are required to abide by all the school rules and regulations and the Code of Conduct.
** Afrikaans is recognised and taught as the second official language
** On receiving a provisional acceptance letter from the school, an admission fee of R4 000.00 must be paid to the school to confirm your child’s enrolment. This amount will be credited towards the school fees for the following year.
** Should a parent be guilty of falsifying admission documents, then such admission would be rendered null and void.

Expression Of Interest Application :
** Should you wish to submit an expression of interest in enrolling your child at Rand Park High School in the future, please click on the button below to complete the Expression of Interest Form online.
Step 3 :
Complete Gde Online Admissions Application :
Grade 7 Parents :
** 2018 GDE Admissions officially open from 2 May 2017 at 08h00 until 12 June 2017.
** Complete the online application via .gdeadmissions.gov.za.
** Download the Rand Park Admissions Data Form from this website and source all the required supporting documentation.
** Present these documents to the School before 13h00 on 12 June 2017.
Grade 8 – 11 Parents :
** If space is available for your child, our Admissions Secretary will contact you to schedule an appointment to receive the Admissions Data Form and supporting documentation.
Note :
** Note that the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has implemented an online admissions application system for Grade 8 learners.
** Parents are required to complete online admission applications via the GDE’s admissions portal from 08h00 on 2 May 2017 until 24h00 on 12 June 2017.
Admission Application Forms :
** Parents who wish to enroll their Grade 7 child at our school, for the 2018 academic year, are required to apply via the Gauteng Department of Education’s (GDE) online admissions portal – .gdeadmissions.gov.za.
** The GDE admissions portal is open for applications from 2 May 2017 until 12 June 2017.
** Once the GDE application has been completed, parents must download and complete the Admissions Data Form (see right) and obtain the required supporting documentation.
** Supporting documentation plus the Admissions Data Form must be delivered to the School by no later than 13h00 on 12 June 2017.
** Parents who wish to enroll their children who are currently in Grade 8 to 11 children are requested to contact Mrs Podmore in Admissions to check availability in these grades.
** Upon confirmation of space availability, the Data Admissions Form may be downloaded, completed and presented to the school.
