Facebook Fan of the Month Terms & Conditions :

** The Ackermans fan of the month is a monthly competition that will run from 1 July- 31 December 2016.

** Entry into the competition is free. Participants have to be an active Ackermans Facebook fan on our Facebook page .facebook.com/AckermansSA in order to be a winner.
** The competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa.

You are not eligible to participate in this competition if :
a. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor Group of companies, its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the competition;
b. You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 5(a) above;

** The announcement of winners takes place during the first week of the month. Winners will be announced on our Ackermans Facebook page.
** The winners are selected via a Social Media tracking tool, which looks at comments, likes and shares of the Facebook fan.

** There will be 3 monthly winners who will each win a R200 Ackermans gift card.
** A fan can only win a voucher once during the calendar year.
** The winner will be contacted approximately 2 weeks after the competition closes.

** Winners need to inbox their contact information to the administrators on our Facebook page and will be contacted to verify their details.
** Calls may be recorded for verification purposes.
** An alternative winner will be drawn if after 3 attempted calls the organisers cannot reach the initial winner
** Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

** Ackermans and their delivery agent does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this competition.
** Winners give Ackermans and its authorized agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.

** Ackermans reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice.
** In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against Ackermans and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Ackermans.

** By participating in this competition, you consent to (i) the processing of your personal information by Pep and other companies in the Pepkor group, any of their operators, commercial partners, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential

(ii) the collection of your personal information from any other source to supplement the personal information which Pep has about you;

(iii) the retention of your personal information for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention and marketing purposes;

(iv) the use of your personal information to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in the Pepkor group that may be of interest or value to you;

(v) a credit enquiry being conducted about you with any credit bureau or credit provider and providing your personal information to credit risk management services (including a credit bureau).

** You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying Ackermans in writing or by registering a block on any registry which Ackermans is bound by law to recognise.

** Pep will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems.
** Pep will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
