Who May Enter The Competition? (Who Qualifies For Selection)
** All persons, including South Africa Citizens and Foreign Nationals may enter the Competition.
** However, to enter you must be at least 25 years old to qualify to receive the prize and currently reside in South Africa.
All entrants must qualify as franchisees- criteria include :
** Demonstrate a love for working with children
** Aspire to build and develop the Sherpa Kids brand
** Successfully undertake the franchisee diagnostic questionnaire
** Provide a recognised police clearance certificate (clean criminal check)
** Available to work for at least 20 hours per week with Sherpa Kids Centre
** Undergo full Sherpa Kids training programme prior to commencing any service offering
** Successfully qualify in paediatric CPR first aid training
** Identify suitable trading site and assist with securing the location in close proximity to the franchisee’s current residence and within the Sherpa Kids current development hubs
** Are in the position to set up a functioning home office environment in line with Sherpa Kids requirements
** Have a clean and clear ITC credit check (not blacklisted)
** Subject to provisions contained in this clause 1 and subject to exclusions recorded in clause 2 below, the following persons will be eligible for selection.
** Any persons that fully completes Sherpa Kids #BuyABusiness Expo 2016 application form obtained at Sherpa Kids #BuyABusiness Expo (Stand #C1 and C2) (Thu 8 Sept 2016 – Sat 10 Sept and provides proof of payment of full refundable initial deposit of R10 000.00 (incl. Vat) for period Thurs 8 Sept 2016 – Fri 30 Sept 2016.
How To Enter :
** Fully and comprehensively complete SHERPA Kids #BUYABUSINESS EXPO 2016 application form obtained at Sherpa Kids #BuyABusiness Expo (Stand #C1 and C2) (Thur 8 May 2016- Sat 10 Sept 2016) and provides proof of the payment of full refundable initial deposit of R10 000.00 (incl. Vat) for period Thurs 8 Sept 2016 – Fri 30 Sept 2016.
** Submit Sherpa Kids #BuyABusiness Expo 2016 application form before Fri 30th Sept 2016 to md AT sherpakids.co.za.

** Only those entrants that have made actual payment of an initial deposit of R10 000.00 (ten thousand rand only) will qualify for selection, without exception.
** Should a refund of R10 000.00 be paid back to the entrant, on request, prior to 30 Sept 2016, such entrant shall not longer qualify for the draw and will be specifically excluded.
When Does The Competition Start And End?
** Competition starts Thur 8 Sept 2016 and ends Fri 30 Sept 2016 (“Closing Date”).
** This is the competition period.
The Prize :
The Prize shall specifically exclude the following :
** Payment of any interest accrued on the R10, 000.00 deposit, where applicable
** Start Up capital for operation of the Sherpa Kids Centre, estimated at R80 000.00 which includes, but not limited, costs for business set up costs, Isystemize, independent legal and finance advice.
** 3 months working capital for operation of the Sherpa Kids Centre, estimated at R105 000.00 (for a site with 25 children)
** Working capital includes, but is not limited to, staff costs, food costs, operating materials, insurance, professional services.
** Any additional signage, equipment, fixtures, and/or fittings requested by the winner and/or which are not included in the minimum specifications as directed By Bamboo Bridge (Pty) Ltd.
** Continued operational requirements in terms of the site occupancy agreement, including rental, electricity, water, stock, maintenance.
** Continued operational requirements in terms of the franchise agreement including payment of royalties and marketing contributions due in terms of the franchise agreement.
An operating site :
** The prize is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
** The winner shall not be allowed and/or authorised to sell the Sherpa Kids Centre for a period of 2 (two) years from the first trading date and shall be obliged to run and administer the business for a minimum of 2 (two) years.
