Transport :
** Buses depart from main gate at Loskopdam, a Forever Resort at 03:45am.
** Buses returning to Middelburg will depart at 13:00 after prize giving.

Note :
** Collect race number in Middelburg, NOT at the resort.
** No substitutions or entries on race day.
** Please avoid the disappointment of trying to do a substitution on race day.

21,1km Wild Challenge :
Start : 06:30am
Transport :
** Free Shuttle service depart from main gate at Loskopdam, a Forever Resort from 04:30am.
** The shuttle service will also be available to transport athletes from the finish back to the resort after the race.

Note :
** Collect race number at the Damwal complex, NOT in Middelburg.
** No substitutions or entries on race day.
** Please avoid the disappointment of trying to do a substitution on race day.

Race Rules :
The races are run subject to the rules and regulations of ASA :
** Each runner must have two 2017 license numbers, one in front and one at the back (or one temporary license at the back) and one Loskop Series race number (in front) on race day.
** According to ASA rules the ASA sponsor logo may not be covered with the Loskop Race Number. According to ASA rules athletes must be disqualified if this rule is disobeyed.
** Race referee’s decisions are final
** No earphones are allowed

Run Clean Pledge :
** This race has pledged itself to Modern Athlete’s #runclean campaign.
** Runners are urged to honor this pledge by disposing of sachets or other refuse at water points and only at designated refuse bins.
** Please do not throw your water sachets in the veld.
** Rather drop it in the road if you miss the provided bins for ease of cleaning up.

Timing Chip :
** Your Protime Timing tag will be in your race envelope and MUST be attached to your shoe as per instructions.
** Kindly ensure that it is attached properly as NO CHIP = NO TIME.
** It must be returned at the finish.

Collection of race envelopes / numbers :
Race numbers will be available NUMERICALLY for collection as follows :
50km :
** Friday, 21 April 2017: 12:00 – 20:00 and Saturday, 22 April 2017: 04:30 – 06:00
** To be collected at the back of the Middelburg Municipal offices, corner of Walter Sisulu and Hospitaalweg.
** Your race t-shirts will be given to you when you collect your race envelope.

21km :
** Friday, 21 April 2017: 12:00 – 20:00 and Saturday, 22 April 2017: 05:00 – 06:30
** To be collected at Damwal Complex on the N11 about 5km past Forever Resorts Loskopdam towards Groblersdal at the turn off to Loskop Nature Reserve
** Your race t-shirts will be given to you in the tunnel when you finish the race.

Tog bags / T-shirt in string bag :
** There is a secure tog bag area at Loskop Dam.
** Tog bag trucks will be at both starting points to take bags to the finish.
** If so required, you will receive wrist bands to identify and collect your property at Loskop Dam.

Buses :
21km :
** No Bus Transport From Middelburg To The 21Km Start.
** You need to plan accordingly and make provision for the road closure at 05:00.
** Advice: be OUT OF Middelburg at 04:30 already en route to Loskop on the N11
** A free bus shuttle service will be provided from the main gate of the Forever resort Loskopdam from 05:00 – 14:00 to transport 21km and Fun Run athletes to the start or back to their cars after the race.

50km :
** Buses will depart from the main gate at Loskop from 3:45 – 4:30 promptly. Please be on time as this will result in a timely start.
** Athletes who get their envelopes the morning only and do not have their bus tickets – the marshals will have numerical (know your Loskop Race number) lists and if you did book a place, you will be able to get on the bus.
** After the race the first bus will leave for Middelburg at 13:00 and the last one at 14:00.

Road closure :
** The N11 between Middelburg and Loskopdam a Forever Resort, will be closed on race day to all vehicles from 05:00 – 13:00 except marshal and emergency vehicles.
** This decision has been taken in order to avoid high levels of traffic congestion on the road which places the safety of our runners at risk.

** Please inform family and friends travelling on this road of this arrangement and kindly convey our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
** There is an alternative route from Middalburg via Stoffberg and Groblersdal to Loskopdam.
** However it is 70km longer and not in a very good condition.

21KM :
** Alternative route to registration / start

For the 21km only :
** The road from Pretoria to Loskop via Verena might be a wise choice as there is a 5km stop/go between Loskop and Damwal Complex.
** From the N4 at Bronkhorstspruit turn off on the R25 towards Groblersdal.
** This tarred road (R25) is in a good condition except for 15km before Verena which is a bit narrow with potholes.

** At Verena carry on straight until you reach Dennilton, take the first tar road to your right and drive through Elandsdoorn (turn off before shopping centre with Shoprite on the right|).
** Be careful for speed humps and animals in Elandsdoorn.
** Carry on straight until you reach a t-junction and turn right into the N11 towards Loskopdam/Middelburg.
** You will reach Damwal complex after about 4km.

Start :
50km :
** 06:00 at the municipal Offices, Wanderers ave, Middelburg

21km :
** 06:30 outside Loskop dam Nature Reserve at Damwal Complex.

Fun Run :
** Enter on race day at the 21km registration and start at 06:45.
** 21km shuttle service also available for Fun Run participants.

Parking on race day :
50km registration/start :
** Secure parking for the day in a fenced off area At Middelburg High School @ a fee. (At Loskop Dam a Forever Resort if you are early and booked a bus ticket to get to the start)

21km registration/start :
** Outside Loskop Nature Reserve at Damwal Complex, use the shuttle service after the race back to your vehicle.
** Or at Loskopdam and use the shuttle service to registrayion/start.
** Security personnel will patrol the area to ensure your vehicle is safe.

Entry vouchers to the resort :
** All official entrants will be provided with an entry voucher permitting entry for a maximum of 3 supporters. Athletes will enjoy the finish facilities at Forever Resorts Loskop at no extra charge.

** Should supporters/athletes enter the Loskop resort prior to collecting the free entry vouchers, a fee of R30pp is payable.Please keep the correct cash at hand. This will be refunded with proof of payment and show of entry vouchers at the office before the end of the day.

Finish :
All races :
** 50km, 21km, and Fun Run finishes at the old swimming pool at Loskop dam a Forever Resort.
