** The name of the promotion is “Win 1 of 3 Nissan NP200 Bakkies!”. The promotion commences 1 April 2017 and ends 30 June 2017.

** The Promoter of this promotion is The Lion Match Company (Pty) Ltd.
** Any person participating in this promotion (“Promotion”) does so on acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

** The Lion Match Company (Pty) Ltd and its subsidiaries are collectively referred to as the “Promoter” in respect of the Promotion for purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
** The Promotion will run from 1 April 2017 until 30 June 2017 after which date the Promotion will automatically lapse and no further entries will be accepted.

** The Promotion is open to all participants over the age of 18 within the Republic of South Africa, except the Promoter, its directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates.

** The main prize must be registered to a legal South African resident with a valid driver’s licence. Should the winner not be in possession of such a licence, they can appoint someone to receive the prize on their behalf.

** The main reward is 1 Nissan NP200 bakkie awarded each month during the promotional period (3 in total).
** The secondary reward is 1 of 12 cash cards to the value of R1,000 each.
** The Promoter will not be held responsible for any fuel and/or toll costs in regards to the main reward.

** Insurance for the vehicle, registration fees, vehicle licensing, vehicle servicing, repairs and any other additional costs will be the winner’s responsibility and the winner undertakes to license the vehicle in their name immediately after delivery. Any traffic fines or other costs in relation to the vehicle after delivery will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

** The Promoter is not responsible for any faults or damage to the vehicle. Any queries or complaints about the vehicle must be directed to the car dealership.
** The main reward cannot be redeemed for cash in part or whole, is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

** The secondary reward is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
** Rewards cannot be exchanged for an alternative Reward and the decision is final; no negotiations will be entered into.

** To enter, participants must (during the promotional period): Purchase a case or a shrink of Lion Safety Matches PLUS a case of Lion Candles or a case of Lighthouse Special Candles.
** They must then SMS the word “Lion”, followed by their name to 33013.
** Entrants must retain their till slips as proof of purchase as it will be required for the verification of the winner.

** Only one entry per purchase.
** Participants may enter up to 5 times per cellphone number per month.
** SMSs cost R1,50 per SMS.
** Free SMSs do not apply.

** The consumer’s entry will be withdrawn if any goods purchased in connection with the Promotion are returned by the consumer before the competition entry data file is extracted for purposes of doing the draw.
** Winners will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received.

** The Promoter reserves the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these rules, and to postpone, suspend or cancel the Promotion or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.
** Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the promotion rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.

** All winners indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers, affiliates, and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotion including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

** The Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from an entrant’s participation in this promotional competition or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising.

** The Promoter is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
** Any Reward is accepted by a winner at his/her own risk and the Promoter is not liable, at any time, for any defect in the Reward.

** The Promoter may require purchasers to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

** By accepting the prize the winners consent for the Promoter and its agents to publish their names and photographs in any advertising, promotional, print, point of sale, or public relations material, the nature and manner of such releases to be determined within the sole discretion of the Promoter.

** The Promoter undertakes not to disclose any of the potential prize winner’s personal information, other than for the declared purpose.
