Battle Of The Giants :

** The South African Body of Dance in conjunction with Sun International are looking forward to hosting the “2017 Battle of the Giants All Styles Dance Festival”

Entry Fees :
The Entry Fee is R440.00 per dancer which includes the following :
** Entrance to dance, irrespective of how many sections entered.
** Dancers have free entrance into the Sun Central Superbowl & Warrior Hall for the full duration of the “Giants” festival.

** Includes a commemorative T-shirt, a souvenir programme and free entry to the “Achiever Finals” in the Sun Central Superbowl.
** Entry Fees are Non-Refundable under any circumstances.
** No Entries Will Be Processed Without Proof Of Payment

Dance Floors :
** The dance floor will be divided in two for certain sections where appropriate for that section / heat. 20m wide x 26.2m long.
** Performing Arts Stage Size to be advised.

** A proposed schedule will be sent out after the closing date of the BOTG. It is subject to alteration, depending on the number of entries received.
** The organiser reserves the right to combine or cancel sections, if and when necessary.

** In the event of any alteration, an up-date notification will be issued to each studio/dance club.
** Program of events subject to change without notice.
** The organisers reserve the right to combine any sections should the need arise.

Closing Date For Entries :
** The Closing Date for Dancers Entries is Monday the 27th March 2017.
** This Date Will Be Strictly Adhered To.

T-Shirt Orders & Sizes :
** Dancers all receive ONE commemorative T-Shirt as part of their entry fee.

T-shirts are to be ordered as follows :
** Dancer ONLINE Entries. This t-shirt size must be entered online along with the entry into the competition on .sabod.co.za/sys
** For Freestyle, Disco, Ballroom & Latin Dancer entries, the t-shirt size order must be completed on the cover sheet on page 15 & page 21 and emailed to beverler@netactive co.za with the relevant entry forms.

** Non-dancers (teachers, spectators, students, parents etc) who wish to order a commemorative t-shirt and dancers who require extra commemorative t-shirts, may do so by completing the attached non dancer t-shirt order form on page 8 and emailing it to sabodcomps AT icon.co.za with the proof of payment accompanying the order form.

Video & Flash Photography :
** No video recording or flash photography will be permitted during the competition. There will be an official / professional photographer on duty.
** Please Note That Abuse Of This Rule Will Lead To Disqualification**

** Ensure your dancers have been registered online with the SABOD Association.
** Complete the relevant entries online for all sections and categories.

** Please find attached a copy of the documents on “How to register online” and “How to enter the competition online”

** All entry forms submitted must include your proof of payment. NO ENTRIES WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT PROOF OF PAYMENT!
** Same name and surname on entry form to be used as payment reference

** No Late Entries Will Be Accepted
** Please make sure you fill out the form clearly and correctly (use block letters)
** Please make sure your entry fees are calculated correctly and paid in full

** Emailed entries will be accepted PROVIDING that ALL the attachments are in one folder and no larger than 2MB. Otherwise entries must be faxed.
** A copy of your bank deposit slip/EFT MUST be attached/included with the entry form.
** One T-Shirt per dancer is included in the Entry fee and needs to entered on the cover sheet for the above genres.**
