** We know that, for many, a fulfilling and rewarding career may feel out of reach.
** It’s a goal that can only be achieved building on the foundation of a solid education.
** Simply put, we don’t want our students to be limited just because of the cost of a good education.
** That’s why we’re awarding a scholarship to a new student that enrolls with us.
** By providing financial support to fulltime students we empower them to get real world ready with one of our qualifications.
Eligibility :
** All newcomer (1st year) students who enroll for a bachelor qualification for the first time after Grade 12
** Students must be South African citizens.
** Students must be registered for every module in a specific course, presented over an academic year
** Paid your R800 registration fee
Note :
** Students who have been either an undergraduate student, or studied at any other higher education institution, do not qualify for these awards.
** Unfortunately we do not award scholarships for our special courses, Short learning programs, Foundation programmes or Higher Certificates.
Qualification criteria :
Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria :
** The student passed all Grade 12 certificate subjects with an average above 55% (Rating code 4).
** Only the six subjects with the highest rating (excluding Life Orientation) will be considered
** Students must have taken Mathematics, not Maths Literacy, if applying to study the sciences, commerce, business or IT
Application rankings are based on the average percentage of the rating score obtained on the Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent – such as A-levels or IEB examinations), as follows :
Rating Code | Average % |
7 | 85 |
6 | 75 |
5 | 65 |
4 | 55 |
