Cell C Trace Mobile Tariff plan

TRACE Mobile Terms and Conditions :
** It is important that you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions in order to participate in the TRACE Mobile offer (“TRACE Mobile”).

** All standard Terms and Conditions of Cell C (Pty) Ltd and Cell C Service Provider Company (Pty) Ltd apply to TRACE Mobile.
** All prices and usage rates advertised in connection with TRACE Mobile include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
** TRACE Mobile is available from 7th September 2015

Activation / Tariff Plan

** The TRACE Mobile tariff plan is only available to Cell C Prepaid customers.
** New Cell C Prepaid customers will be required to RICA a TRACE Mobile starter pack before activation can take place.
** Existing Cell C Prepaid customers can migrate to the TRACE Mobile tariff plan by dialling *108#.

** Customers that port into Cell C can dial *108# to migrate to the TRACE Mobile tariff plan.
** Customers on the TRACE Mobile tariff plan will receive recharge bonus benefits when recharging their account.
** Customers will be billed on a per second basis on the TRACE Mobile tariff plan.

Bonus Airtime Value on Recharges

** Recharge on TRACE Mobile and get 200% (two hundred percent) bonus airtime value back.
** As an example: Recharge with R10 (ten rand) and get R20 (twenty rand) bonus airtime value, this gives you a total of R30 (thirty rand) in value, which is 3X the value of the recharge.

** The original recharge airtime value (e.g. R10) can be depleted for any usage.
** However, the bonus airtime value (e.g. R20) can only be used for Cell C to Cell C voice calls, Cell C to Cell C SMSs and Data.

** The bonus airtime values also have an applicable validity period
** All new customers that activate on TRACE Mobile or migrate to TRACE Mobile will receive the bonus benefits when recharging.

** All variable/ATM recharges shall also receive the associated bonus airtime, e.g. R7 (seven rand) recharge at an ATM will receive R14 (fourteen rand) bonus airtime value. The bonus airtime value is only awarded on recharges of R5 (five rand) and above.

FREE services on activation of TRACE Mobile starter pack :
** On activation of the TRACE Mobile starter pack, customers will get the following services free of charge only for the 1st month.
** In order to access these services customer must visit the .tracemobile.co.za portal and register.

FREE WhatsApp : (zero rated data charges)
** All customers on the TRACE Mobile tariff plan must automatically have access to FREE WhatsApp.
** Customers will not be charged for any data usage for access to WhatsApp.
** Customers that migrate out of the TRACE Mobile tariff plan will automatically forfeit access to the WhatsApp service and will be charged for data usage on WhatsApp according to their tariff plan rates and rules.

** BlackBerry internet service plans Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies to BlackBerry OS6 and OS7 customers for WhatsApp usage.what does this mean (Indresen: this means that if a customer has a BIS service activated the FUP for BIS will be applied to WhatsApp.

** Where the WhatsApp application is downloaded from an iStore, Google Store, Play Store, BlackBerry store or any other App store, customers will be charged at applicable tariff plan rates for the data when downloading the WhatsApp application. Thereafter customers will benefit from the FREE WhatsApp service.

** All customers must be active and have a positive balance (at least a minimum balance of 1c) to get access to the FREE WhatsApp service.

** Unless otherwise notified, all data traffic on the FREE WhatsApp service will be free to the customer irrespective of the content including sending of text messages, pictures, files, short videos and voice messages. WhatsApp Calling is excluded. (Indresen: as per point 27 below)

** Where a FUP is applied, there shall be no carry-over of unused free data on WhatsApp into the new month.

** Customers will receive the monthly FUP allocation of WhatsApp data in the new month that will be valid for WhatsApp usage in that month.
** You must be aware that a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) will apply to the FREE WhatsApp service with a maximum of 100MB per subscriber per month. Should a customer exceed this usage, any further usage will be charged at 15c per MB.

** Data consumption while roaming internationally will not be FREE for WhatsApp usage. Data roaming rates will apply and will be charged as out of bundle usage. Out Of bundle usage will be depleted from the customers prepaid airtime where Cell C has Prepaid Roaming available

** Cell C reserves the right to change the fair usage limit on reasonable notice to customers
** WhatsApp will only be FREE for local usage and not while the customer is roaming internationally.

** The applicable tariff plan rates for any other local data usage shall apply; data will only be free for WhatsApp usage on Trace Mobile subject to a fair usage limit
** FREE data on WhatsApp on Trace Mobile is not available to customers who are on any CSTs, WASP and/or LCR (Least Cost Routing) products/services.

FREE Basic Facebook via Internet.org :(zero rated data charges)
** To qualify for FREE Facebook, TRACE Mobile customers need to recharge every 30 days OR have a positive balance on their account.
** The customer should recharge with any value airtime or load a Data bundle every 30 days to qualify for the offer.
** Every recharge gives the customer an additional 30 days free access from the date of recharge.

** Emergency Airtime and Airtime Transfer qualify as recharges.
** If the customer does not recharge for more than 30 days, but has a positive balance after the 30 days, they will continue to receive the offer.

** Normal depletion rules apply if the customer loses their free services. The customer will be charged according to their current tariff plan.please explain (this means that if a customer has not recharged and does not have a positive balance thay will not get the free service (Facebook) and therefore any usage will be charged at the tariff plan rates.

** The Internet.org application is only available on Android. Trace Mobile customers will access FREE Basic Facebook service via Internet.org.
** Customers can download the Internet.org application from the Google Play store.

** The one-time data downloading charge for the Internet.org Android application is NOT free. Customers will be charged for downloading the application to run Internet.org as per their applicable data tariff plan.
** Alternatively, customers can go to .internet.org to access the site to avoid the one-timeappdownload charge.
