Process Controller :
Requirements :
** A Diploma in water care; with at least two year relevant experience in water treatment process operation;

** willing to work a twelve hour shift and weekends;
** must have a Driver licence.
** Registration or classification with Department of Water and Sanitation will be added as Advantage, Class Three Certificate.
Key Responsibilities :
** Performing specific water tests to determine performance, applying established methods and specific testing apparatus or equipment and recording test outcomes on control forms.
** Operate control and Monitor chemical dosing .Monitoring of water quality.
** Attending to remedial, corrective and procedural requirements, using hand held tools, (i.e. cleaning of chemical feeders, engaging pumps and blowers etc.).
** Mixing and diluting purifying chemicals with water to address deviations in the dosing system.
** Competence in potable water treatment process operations.
** Performing chlorine residual tests to determine performance, applying established methods for specific test apparatus or equipment and recording test outcomes on control forms.
** Adjusting the chlorine dosage based on results outcome of residual testing.
** Monitor, control and record Chlorine dosages perform drop test before and after every shift.
** Performing jar test once per week and record the results.
** Write Monthly reports book filling.
** Ensure that blue drop requirements are followed.
