Dress Up And Walk Or Run For The Twilight Team Run :
** Cape Town’s oldest charity organisation Community Chest is uniting the city for charity with their highly anticipated fun-run event, The Twilight Team Run on 6th December 2016.

** The annual event, which is celebrating its 34th birthday unofficially earmarks the start of the festive season in the City and is expected to attract in excess of ten thousand fun walkers, runners and skaters this year who will strut their way from Darling Street at the Grand Parade for 4km through the side streets of the CBD and back to the starting point again.

** Participants showcasing their creative costume design talents can enter the dress-up competition which is held at 17h30 prior to the start of the run/walk and afterwards participants can party it up to local musical artists such as Tasha B, Ameen Harron, Che-V, The Unknown, DJ Uncle Cal and Africa Ablaze at the Twilight Festival on the Grand Parade.

** Families and friends join forces to enter as teams as well as schools, NGOs, municipal departments, large corporations and small businesses.
** All surplus funds from this year’s Twilight Run will be invested into education sectors, to help equip scholars going into the 2017 school year.

The Twilight Team Run :
** Number pack collection takes place at City Hall from 13h00 to 18h00 on Monday 5th and 12h00 to 18h00 on Tuesday 6th December.
** Best dressed competition 17h30 until 18h30

** Race starts at 19h00
** Corporate sites at the Twilight Festival area on the Grand Parade will be sold at R4 500 and for more information you can email twilight AT comchest.org.za

** It should be noted that this event strictly prohibits alcohol on the route and no alcohol is to be brought into the Twilight Festival area on the Grand Parade however, alcohol can be bought at the licensed entertainment areas at the event.
