Delivery :
Free Standard Delivery :
** For orders over R250, Spree delivers FREE throughout South Africa either door-to-door, or door-to-post office counter or door-to-Pargo pick up point, depending on where the shopper is based.
** For orders under R250, Spree charges a standard, non-refundable delivery fee of R50.
** Should a shopper in an outlying area wish to have their order delivered to their door, a set delivery fee of R200 is charged irrespective of order value.
** During the checkout process, Spree will determine and present you with your delivery options based on your delivery suburb, postal code, order value and the warehouse(s) that the items are coming from.
Delivery Options :
Spree has two delivery options :
** Standard Delivery
** Premium Delivery
Standard Delivery :
** Standard delivery is either door-to-door, door-to-post office counter, or door-to-pargo point.
** Standard delivery is free for orders over R250. For orders under R250, a standard delivery fee of R50 is charged.
** Standard delivery takes place during office hours and the shopper cannot select the exact date, or time, for the delivery.
** There are no standard deliveries after hours, over weekends or on public holidays. Please take this into consideration when selecting your delivery address.
** During checkout, the buyer indicates where in South Africa you require delivery and based on the your delivery address and postal code, Spree will indicate which standard delivery options are available free (door-to-door, door-to-counter, or door-to-pick-up point).
** In the case of door-to-door delivery, your parcel will be delivered to the address you specified in the checkout process.
** In the case of door-to-counter delivery, your order will be delivered to the post-office nearest to your address within the postal code you selected.
** In the case of door-to-pick-up point delivery, your order will be delivered to your selected Pargo pick-up point.
** In the case of door-to-door delivery, if nobody is present at the address at the time of delivery, our courier will make a second attempt to deliver, on the next working day.
** The courier will try once more (third attempt), and if at that time there is still no one to sign for the parcel, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method which was used for the order.
** Should a delivery fee have been charged on the order, this will not be reimbursed, given that the courier has attempted delivery on numerous occasions.
** In the case of door-to-counter delivery, if the parcel is not collected within 30 days of it being delivered to the post office, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method which was used for the order.
** In the case of door-to-pick-up point, if the parcel is not collected within 8 calendar days of being delivered, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method that was used for the order.
Premium Delivery :
** This is a service offered to customers based on certain areas of Cape Town who would like to select an exact date and specific time-slot for their door-to-door delivery.
** The availability is displayed upon checkout, based on the delivery address and the warehouse(s) that the items are coming from.
** Timeslot delivery is only available when making payment via credit / debit card, or instant EFT and, when all items in the cart are available in our CT warehouse.
** The slots displayed at checkout are the only available slots and cannot be amended. After selecting a date and time slot, the customer has 20 minutes to complete payment and place the order. Failure to do so may result in losing the selected time slot.
** Timeslot delivery is available on working days only (no weekends or public holidays), from 09h00 – 18h00, in below specified slots at the associated delivery surcharge. Please note, the premium delivery surcharge is added to the R50 standard delivery fee should the order value be less than R250.
