ST Peters Apply For Admissions
To apply to St Peters :
** Download and complete the application form (below)
** Pay non-refundable registration fee of R500 (bank details found on the fee schedule)
** Provide a copy of birth certificate

** Provide a copy of latest report (Gr 2 – 7)
** Foreign pupils – provide a copy of Permanent/Temporary Residency or Study Visa
** Completed application forms and accompanying documentation can be emailed to admissions AT stpeters.co.za.
** The Admissions Officer will confirm receipt of your application.
Enrolment
Boys: 78 pupils per grade per year
Girls: 78 pupils per grade per year (2015 onwards)
** Waiting lists are categorized into High Priority, Priority and Chronological lists according to the criteria set out below.
** However, it should be noted that a place cannot be guaranteed simply by placing a child’s name on the waiting list.
** Late applicants who fall into the High Priority or Priority placement category, will be prioritized, but may be further down the waiting list than had the application been made earlier.
** High Priority and Priority applications must be received timeously and placement depends on the availability of vacancies.
High Priority Placements :
** Accepted immediately on receipt of application.
1. Permanent staff employed at St Peter’s, including St Peter’s College.
2. Siblings of current pupils and those who have been guaranteed places.
3. Children of Old Boys/Girls of St Peter’s School.
Priority Placements :
** Placed on the waiting list and offered the year prior to commencement if spaces are available.
** Grandparents who are Old Boys/Girls.
** Children of Anglican Clergy.
** College past pupils who did not attend the prep school.
** Children of Council and Trustee members.
** Children of Anglican Parishioners recommended and motivated by the Parish Rector.
Gr 0 Intake Procedure :
** Electronic communication is sent out in July two years prior to starting.
** Families who have been given acceptance will receive further communication in November of the same year.
** This will be followed up by telephonic communication in January/February the year prior to commencement.
** Acceptance fees are required to be paid by end of March for families who have been offered places.
** Should places still be available thereafter, these will be offered to Priority Placements and then to the Chronological Waiting List.
** Applications which have 3 points will be offered first, then applications with 4 points, and so on.
NB :
** If you have not heard from us by March of that year, kindly contact the Junior Prep to clarify his/her standing.
Gr 1 – Gr 7 Waiting List Procedure :
** A terms notice is required from current pupils. The waiting list will be addressed should we receive notification of a family/ies leaving.
** High Priority applications (siblings, children of Old Boys/Girls, staff and returning pupils) will be offered first.
** Thereafter, applications are offered chronologically. An assessment will be arranged.
** The place will be offered or declined after assessment is complete and financial checks are done.
** Should St Peter’s offer a place and the place is declined, the application will drop to the bottom of the waiting list.
