What is Ola x Ghostbusters Giveaway Competition?

Ola x Ghostbusters Movie Giveaway Competition 2024 is organised by Unilever South Africa Proprietary Limited. The Promotional competition is open to all South African Residents. To enter the competition, Participants must purchase any of the participating products and follow the instructions. Participate and Stand a chance to receive Sony Playstation, Ghostbusters Movie hampers and Movie ticket pairs. Last date of competition is 31st of May 2024 .

Eligibility of Ola x Ghostbusters Giveaway Competition

1. The Promotional competition (Promotion) is open to all South African Residents who are in possession of a valid identity document, except any employee, director, officer, member, partner, agent, consultant, advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, supplier, affiliates and/or associated companies of the Promoter or any person who controls or is controlled, directly or indirectly, by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of the aforesaid people (hereinafter referred to as “Disqualified Persons”).

2. All Participants in the Promotion (“Participants”) must, at the time of entering the Promotion:
a) be a natural person and be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age;
b) be a citizen and/or legal resident of the Republic of South Africa;
c) be in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, resident/work permit and/or Driver’s License; and
d) be residing or be present in South Africa for the duration of the Promotional Period and for the period during which the prize draws and the delivery or collection of the prize/s takes place.

3. By participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion. However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.

4. All personal information (‘Personal Data’) supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

How to Enter in the Ola x Ghostbusters Movie Giveaway Competition?

1. To enter the competition, Participants must purchase any of the participating products and follow the instructions below:

2. Dial USSD number *120*1566*5# from a registered prepaid cell phone number that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of the participant.

3. Follow the text prompts to complete their entry. Hereinafter referred to as an “entry”.

4. USSD entries costs 20c per 20 seconds. Free minutes do not apply. Incomplete entries may be billed by the participant’s service provider.

5. Proof of purchase (till slip) must be retained in order to stand a chance to win a prize. Consumers who win any of the draw based prizes will also need to produce their tillslips. Tillslips serve as proof of ice-creams being bought, thus, failure to produce the valid till slip will result in selected winners being disqualified.

6. Consumers who purchase from the vendor tricycle boxes will need to take a photo with the vendor as proof of purchase as they do not issue till slips.

7. Participants may only enter as many times as they’d like, provided that they have a valid proof of purchase(eg till slip) for every purchase within the competition period. Every entry required a unique till slip. Multiple entries made with the same till slip will be disqualified.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.

9. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

10. Any attempt to use multiple e-mail, cell phone or Facebook accouns or other tactics to enter more than once per till slip may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void.
