What is Selati Competition?

Selati Competition 2024 is operated by RCL Group Services Proprietary Limited and Swiffy Technologies Proprietary Limited. Any legal resident of South Africa who is 18 (eighteen) years or older may participate in this Competition. To enter this Competition, the Participant must purchase any 2 (two) Selati products from any retailer that sells Selati products. A Participant stands a chance of winning their share of R500,000 (five hundred thousand rand) in cash prizes, over the 35 day duration of the competition. Last date of Competition is 31st March 2024.

Who Can Participate in the Selati Competition?

** Any legal resident of South Africa who is 18 (eighteen) years or older may participate in this Competition.
** No director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to the Promoter, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Promotion, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of any of the aforesaid persons, may enter this Competition.

How To Participate in the Selati Competition?

To enter this Competition, the Participant must:
** Purchase any 2 (two) Selati products from any retailer that sells Selati products.
** Take a clear photo of the full till slip showing any of the above purchases, reflecting the date and the purchase of 2 (two) Selati products.
** An extract or snipped till slip only reflecting the purchases will not be sufficient and the entry will be declared invalid;
** Send a WhatsApp message with the wording “SELATI” to 087 240 6894 or scan the QR code on either the packaging or the Point of Sale; and
** Follow the prompts to provide the Participant’s details which will include but not be limited to name, surname and age, and upload a clear photo of the till slip.

Note:
** The data rates as charged by the Participant’s service provider will be payable by the Participant for all data usage in entering into this Competition.
** Swiffy will process and manage all entries received.
** When Swiffy receives the WhatsApp entry from the Participant, it will send a response message to the Participant to inform them that their entry has been received and that it will be verified and validated against the photo of the till slip.
** Once the photo of the till slip has been validated, the Participant will receive a further WhatsApp message from Swiffy to confirm whether they are a winner or not.
** Participants may enter as many times as they wish provided that a new till slip is uploaded for each entry. Duplicate till slips will automatically be rejected.
** A Participant’s entry(s) may be restricted if in the Promotor’s opinion their entries are excessive. As a result, any future entries together with the Participant’s profile may be blocked.
** Participants are only eligible to win a maximum of 2 (two) cash vouchers set out in clause for the total duration of the Competition.
** Entries that are unclear, illegible or contain errors will be declared invalid.
** Participants who enter with falsified or tampered slips will be blocked from entering the Competition.
** Participants must retain their till slips as proof of purchase and may be requested to provide the till slip if they are selected as a winner.
** The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged or delayed entries for any reason whatsoever, and proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt by the Promoter.
** The Promoter is not liable for any technical failures affecting the participation and/or Prize redemption process of the Competition.
** In the event that entry into this Competition is contingent on the Participant entering any website or social media page or application, the Participant hereby acknowledges that any and all costs associated with the required internet connection will not constitute a cost of entering into this Competition and shall be borne solely by the Participant.

Prizes of Selati Competition

A Participant stands a chance of winning their share of R500,000 (five hundred thousand rand) in cash prizes, over the 35 day duration of the competition, split into the following denominations:

** 1 (one) of 1225 (one thousand two hundred and twenty five) cash vouchers valued at R100 (one hundred rand); and/or
** 1 (one) of 875 (eight hundred and seventy five) cash vouchers valued at R150 (one hundred and fifty rand); and/or
** 1 (one) of 525 (five hundred and twenty five) cash vouchers valued at R250 (two hundred and fifty rand); and/or
** 1 (one) of 210 (two hundred and ten) cash vouchers valued at R500 (five hundred rand) (“cash vouchers”)
** 1 (one) cash voucher valued at R10 000 (ten thousand rand) will be awarded to one participant within 5 to 10 days, after the Competition has ended on 31March 2024.
** This will be selected via a random draw from the entries accumulated throughout the duration of the Competition.

Results of Selati Competition

Cash Vouchers:
** The winners of the cash vouchers will be selected daily (Monday-Friday) from 26th February 2024 to 31st March 2024 by a random draw using an electronic random picker by the Promotor.
** Each Participant selected as a recipient of a Prize/s will be notified via the WhatsApp number that they used to enter this Competition within 1 (one) hour of entry into this Competition.

Grand Prize:
** The winner of the Grand Prize will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries, regardless of whether the winner has previously won cash vouchers or not.
** The Participant(s) selected as the provisional winner(s) of the Grand Prize will be notified via the WhatsApp number that they used to enter this Competition within 5 (five) Business Days of the date on which the provisional winner(s) is determined.
** In the event that the winner cannot be successfully contacted or fails to respond to the within this time, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Participant in substitution.
** To redeem their Prize, the Participant will receive a PIN (“the PIN”) which can be used to withdraw the cash payout from any ABSA ATM.
** The PIN will be sent via SMS only to the number the Participant used to enter the Competition. It is the responsibility of the Participant to ensure that the number they used to enter the Competition can receive SMSs.
** The PIN is only valid for a period of 30 (thirty) days from the time of receipt, within which the Participant is able to redeem their Prize.
** Should a Participant lose their PIN, the Participant may, within the 30-day period, request a new PIN by sending an email to selati@swiffy.co.za.
** The new PIN will be sent only to the number the Participant used to enter the Competition.
** Should the Participant fail to request the PIN and redeem the Prize within 30 (thirty) days then the Participant will be deemed to have rejected the Prize/s, and the Prize/s shall revert to the Promoter.
