Am I able to track and trace my shipment via the Internet Express Website?
Yes, we will have a link to the relevant service provider’s track and trace system. This can be accessed via Internet Express. Internet Express will communicate the tracking number to you upon receipt from our service provider.
Does Internet Express charge for hard copy Proof of Deliveries?

Are prices displayed for shipments subject to change without notification?
Should the actual weights and dimensions of the consignment differ to those given when the collection is requested, and /or the consignment exceeds the chargeable mass stipulated, Internet Express reserves the right to re-cost the shipment and charge out accordingly.
What is classified as a “Regional Area”?
A regional area is any Town or City in South Africa that is not catered for via a daily flight schedule. In order for this to be possible the area must be within the delivery range of a recognised Airport. All regional areas will have a delay in the delivery time, as most of these areas are not serviced daily.
How do Customs Officials distinguish between a document and a non-document for International shipments?
A document is sheets of loose paper that are unbound. Customs will identify books, magazines and brochures etc as non-documents because they are printed bound matter.
When I send a shipment Internationally, do I need a Proforma Invoice?
Some countries require a Proforma invoice, other a Commercial invoice. Proforma invoices are used when the commodity being exported is on no commercial value, when the person sending the parcel will not realise a profit from the contents; or when the parcel is not being exported for resale purposes.
Internet Express will prompt you on what documentation needs to be completed in order for our services not to be delayed. These documents must be complete and in order for the courier to collect at the same time as collecting the consignment.
When is a Commercial Invoice required?
Commercial Invoices are used when the commodity being exported is of commercial value; when the person sending the parcel will realise a profit from the contents; or when the parcel is being exported for resale purposes. There are some countries that require the invoice regardless of the value of the goods. All non-documents being shipped to Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland and Namibia will require these invoices and a CCA1.
What is a CCA1?
This is a formal customs document that must be completed in full. You can obtain these from most Stationers. All non-documents being shipped to Lesotho, Botswana Swaziland and Namibia will require a CCA1.
Do Documents and Non-Documents take the same duration of time to be delivered?
No, non-documents normally take longer because of the Customs regulations that need to be followed.
What is a bank declaration?
If a parcel you are exporting is valued at more that ZAR 50 000.00, your Banking Institution will need to supply you with a Bank declaration.
