How To Book Intercape Bus Tickets Online?

2. Book your ticket online, by calling our call centre at 021 380 4400 (international: +27 21 380 4400), or visit one of our Sales Offices. Payment can be made by means of using your credit card.

3. You are also given the option of reserving the ticket at the call centre with the payment option being Bank Deposit or a ticket pick-up at PEP or Shoprite/Checkers outlet. Alternatively, visit any Shoprite / Checkers Money Market counter or any of our offices nationwide. There may be an agent in your area who will also be able to assist.

4. You may pay with cash, debit or credit card at one of the offices or Shoprite or Checkers Money Market counters. Call Center bookings may be paid for via internet banking (electronic fund transfer) or credit card, bank deposit, Ticket pick-up at any PEP Store, and at Shoprite or Checkers Money Market counters.

Intercape Ticket Rules

Intercape offers 3 different ticket classes: SAVER, FLEXI, and FULL FLEXI. SAVER tickets offer the best fares, however have limited availability and are more restrictive when it come to cancelling or changing a booking. Book early to take advantage of SAVER fares. FLEXI and FULL FLEXI tickets offer more flexibility, but are more expensive than SAVER tickets.

The table below provides a quick summary of the differences between the different ticket classes. See the complete Terms and Conditions for the various rules and constraints applicable to the different ticket classes.

Important:
No change or refund is possible within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time, or after departure time, and such tickets, if unused, are subject to cancellation with a 100% cancellation fee.

Intercape Ticket Cancellations & Changes

A ticket can be cancelled and a refund issued subject to the following:
** SAVER tickets 48 hours or more before the scheduled departure time, with a 25% cancellation fee;
** FLEXI tickets 24 hours or more before the scheduled departure time, with a 15% cancellation fee;
** FULL FLEXI tickets 12 hours or more before the scheduled departure time, with a 10% cancellation fee;
** Notwithstanding the above, all tickets can be cancelled and will be refunded without any cancellation fee, provided that the cancellation is performed within 1 (one) hour after the ticket was purchased, but not within 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time, in which event the provisions of clause 4.5 shall apply.
** Tickets purchased within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time may not be cancelled and if unused a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
** Tickets cancelled in consequence of the provisions of this clause 3.1 shall attract the stipulated cancellation fee and the balance, if any, shall be refunded to the purchaser or the ticket holder as the case may be.

Tickets can be changed subject to the following:
** SAVER tickets 15 minutes or more before the scheduled departure time with a 25% change fee;
** FLEXI tickets 15 minutes or more before the scheduled departure time with a 15% change fee;
** FULL FLEXI tickets 15 minutes or more before the scheduled departure time with a 10% change fee.
** Any change to a ticket requires a new ticket to be issued by INTERCAPE. Changes in fare will be payable. The value of the original ticket less the applicable fee will be applied towards the new ticket. INTERCAPE does not guarantee availability of a similar ticket class, fare, discount, or reserved seats.
** No change shall be effected within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time, or after departure time, and such tickets, if unused, are subject to cancellation with a 100% cancellation fee.
** Any change as envisaged herein shall include any transfers to another date or time or upgrades of tickets.
** Notwithstanding the above, all tickets can be changed with no change fee, provided that the change is done within 1 (one) hour of the purchase of the ticket, but not within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time in which event the provisions of clauses 3.2.5 and 4.5 shall apply.
** Tickets purchased within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time may not be changed and if unused a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
** Irrespective of the provisions of 3.2 above, no cancellation fee shall be imposed for cancellations or transfers due to the death or hospitalisation of a passenger.
** To cancel or change a ticket, please notify the nearest INTERCAPE office, or the agent where the ticket was purchased, or call +27 (0)21 380 4400. Positive proof of identification will be required which must be faxed to INTERCAPE at fax number +27 (0)21 380 2088 if the cancellation is done telephonically.

    Kindly assist I haven’t traveled by a bus in a while one essential thing missing now is announcement about our whereabouts. I traveled from Port Shepstone to King Williams town we kept on asking each othe where are we now. Fortunately for me was not my first time so I knew the stop my cousin in traveling from Durban this afternoon and it’s her 1st time .

    I booked the intercape ticket for the 30th of August bt I didn’t go on the specific date and I got an emergency I ended up using my car going to Ec.Can I get a refund or some one else can use the ticket to going to cape town while it’s written to Cofimvaba!!
