To Change North-West University (NWU) Password, Follow the below steps

Step-1 : Go to the link https://password.nwu.ac.za/manqiti/password_change.jsp
Step-2 : Enter the University Number
Step-3 : Enter the Current Password
Step-4 : Enter the New Password
Step-5 : Enter the Confirm New Password
Step-6 : Click On Submit Button

Your password must follow these rules:
** At least 8 characters
** At least one uppercase / capital letter
** At least one lowercase / small letter
** At least one numerical character / number
** At least one special character eg. !@#$%^, NOT spaces or asterisks (*)
** Cannot reuse your last 5 passwords

Note:
** Your password will be the same for all CAS systems (e.g. eFundi, e-mail, MS Office 365 suite, etc.)
** This is NOT your student PIN, used for academic systems (e.g. registration, account enquiries, exam results). To change your student PIN please visit Change Student PIN
** ATT: Staff – this is not your VSS password, to change your VSS password please visit VSS Password Reset
** Your password expires after 3 months. Please change your password before this time.
** Your initial password is either your ID number or passport number followed by @Nwu, e.g. 12345667890123@Nwu

Forgot your password? Please follow the below steps

Step-1 : Go to the link https://password.nwu.ac.za/manqiti/password_request.jsp
Step-2 : Enter the University Number
Step-3 : Enter the ID / Passport Number
Step-4 : Enter the Cellphone Number / Email Address
Step-5 : Click On Submit Button

Note:
** The identification information provided will be verified against our records.
** Staff can only use a cellphone number. To change/update please contact your P&C representative
** Your password will be sent via SMS or Email, depending on the one provided.
** If you are using a NWU Email address, please provide a cellphone number since you will not be able to log into your email account.
