KFC Family Treat Promotion and Competition :

** By entering this Promotion and Competition and/or accepting any prize, all participants, entrants and winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below applicable to this Promotion and Competition (“Rules”) and the General Promotional Competition Rules (“General Promotional Competition Rules”) applicable to promotional competitions run by KFC Proprietary Limited and/or its agencies (collectively, the “Organisers”) from time to time.

Promotion and Competition Period :
** The Competition will commence at 00:01 on 25 October 2016 and will end at 23:59 on 12 December 2016 (“Promotion and Competition Period”).
** No entries will be permitted after the Competition Period.

Eligible entrants :
In order to be eligible for participation in this Promotion and Competition, an entrant must be :
** 18 (eighteen) years of age or older, or if younger than 18 (eighteen) years, be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent or legal guardian;
** be in possession of a valid South African identity document or passport;

** willing to provide the Organisers with his/her personal information including, but not limited to, full name(s) and surname, identity number, age, physical address and mobile contact number;
** be in possession of a mobile cellular phone with a number duly registered in the name of the entrant, or the entrant’s legal guardian as the case may be;

** for purposes of the Promotion, be in possession of a mobile device with the D6 Communicator application installed on such mobile device (“D6 Communicator App”) (see clause 1 below); and
** undertake to abide by these Rules and the General Promotional Competition Rules,
** failing which, the winner shall forfeit the prize on the grounds of ineligibility.

** Each entrant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in this Promotion and/or Competition, he/she has full eligibility to do so.
** The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that entrants have met any or all of these eligibility requirements.
** For the avoidance of doubt a person may participate in either the Promotion or the Competition, alternatively, both the Promotion and Competition, subject to the provisions of these Rules as well as the General Promotional Competition Rules.

Participation :
** In order to participate in the Promotion and be awarded with a Promotion Voucher (as defined below), participants will be required, during the Competition and Promotion Period, to access the D6 Communicator App. A KFC D6 Communication (“Communication”) will be available on the D6 Communicator App, which the participant can access.

** Once accessed, the Communication will provide instructions to participants to follow on-screen prompts and participants will be required to provide certain information via the internet (including, amongst others, their mobile contact number).

** Once the above has been completed, a Wi-Code will be issued to the participant via SMS to the mobile contact number provided, which may, in turn, be redeemed for a voucher to the value of R15.00 (fifteen Rand) (“Promotion Voucher”) at any Participating Store.

** The Voucher shall only be valid against the purchase of a Family Meal (as defined below). Only 1 (one) entry (as per clause 1.1 above) is permitted per participant.

Entry :
** To enter the Competition, entrants will be required to purchase either a “KFC Family Treat 8 piece meal” or a “KFC Family Treat 10 piece meal” (each, a “Family Meal”) at any of the Participating Stores (“Purchase”). Upon completion of the Purchase, entrants will be issued with a receipt (till slip) displaying a unique USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) line (“USSD Line”).

** The entrant is required to dial in the USSD line on their mobile device and follow the on-screen prompts to enter the Competition.

** The USSD Line will be charged at 20c/20sec (twenty cents per twenty seconds), provided that the total cost of entry into the Competition will not exceed R1.50 (one Rand and fifty cents).
** Multiple entries will be permitted for the Competition, subject to each entry being submitted separately in respect of separate purchases of a Family Meal made at a Participating Store.

Nature of Prize and Prize Allocation :
** Entrants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 50 (fifty) KFC vouchers every month for a year (therefore, 12 (twelve) vouchers in total), valued at R150.00 (one hundred and fifty Rand) each (“Vouchers”).

** The total prize per winner is therefore equal to R 1800.00 (one thousand eight hundred Rand) (“Prize”).
** The winners will be the first 50 (fifty) qualifying entries randomly drawn, which draw will be held on 22 December 2016 at the offices of Yonder Media Proprietary Limited, Southdowns Office Park, Block C, 2nd Floor, 22 Karee St, Centurion, 0157.

** The winners will be notified on 01 January 2017. Vouchers will be transmitted to the winners on their mobile devices at the start of each month, for a period of 12 (twelve) months.
** The Vouchers are valid for a period of 2 (two) years from date of issue.
** Should the winner not comply with the Rules, or if after 2 (two) days, the winner cannot be contacted, then the winner will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit the Prize.

** In these circumstances, a second draw will be held where the procedure above will be repeated (see clauses 3.2 and 3.3 above).
** The Vouchers are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
** The Organisers reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
