Competition Period

1. The Competition will run for a 5 (five) week period commencing from 17 September 2021 (08h00) to 24 October 2021 (23h59).
2. The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.

Who May Enter?

1. All participants must :
1.1. be citizens of the Republic of South Africa and/or a legal residents of the aforesaid country,

1.2. must be currently residing in the Republic of South Africa at the date of the commencement of the Competition Period.,
1.3. must be a natural person and be at least 18(eighteen) years old at the date of the commencement of the Competition Period.

2. Participation in this Competition excludes the Organizer, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or any supplier of goods and services in connection with the Competition and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates

How To Enter?

The following Samsung influencers (“Influencers’) will post content about the Competition on their respective Instagram pages, including the steps on how a participant will be able to enter the Competition, the relevant hashtag applicable to the Competition, and the tag @SamsungMobileSA

Competition mechanic steps in week 1 – 4 :
1. In the first to the fourth week of the Competition each Influencer will post a video

2. the Participant must respond to the post on the Samsung Influencer’s page and use the following hashtags in their response to the Samsung Influencer’s post #FriendsOfFold #GalaxyZFold3 OR #FriendOfFlip #GalaxyZFlip3, depending on whether the Influencer is a “Friend of Flip” or a “Friend of Fold”

3. In the first, second and fourth week of the Competition only two Influencers will post a video per week, and no Influencer will be the same for each week.

In week 1 of the Competition Influencers: Sarah Langa and Kendall Aberdeen will post a video, in week 2 of the Competition Influencers: Ulrich Janse van Vuuren and Kiara Kittner will post a video, and in week 4 Influencers: Grant Hinds and Kokie Chipane will post a video.

Four winners will then be selected in relation to each of the Influencer’s post per week. A total of 8 (eight) winners will be selected in each week and a total of 24 (twenty four) winners will be selected for the first, second and fourth week of the Competition.

4. In the third week of the Competition the following three
Influencers: Dr Sivu Madikana, Melinda Bam and Seth Shezi will post a video, which Influencers will not be the same as the Influencers who posted in terms of clause 4.2.3 above.

Four winners will then be selected in relation to each of the three Influencers posts. A total of 12 (twelve) winners will be selected in the third week of the Competition.

Competition mechanic steps in week 5:
1. In the final week of the Competition, being week 5 (five) of the Competition, all nine Samsung Influencers will create a video that sets out all the highlight features available on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip 3 and they will post this video on their Instagram page.

2. The participant needs to watch the video and then name one feature showcased in the video

3. The participant must provide their answer by way of a comment to the Samsung’s Influencer’s post of the video and include the following in their comment
1) the tag @SamsungMobileSA and

2) either of the following two hashtags in their comment #FriendsOfFlip / #FriendsOfFold depending on whether the Influencer is a “Friend of Flip” or a “Friend of Fold” to stand a chance to win the prize

Prize

Week 1 – 4 Prize :
1. Each winner drawn in week 1 to 4 will receive
1.1. Galaxy Watch Active2
or
1.2. Galaxy Buds+

2. The Organizer shall in its sole discretion determine which of the above prizes will be received by a participant.

Week 5 Prize :
1. Each winner drawn in week 5 will receive a Galaxy Z Flip3 per Samsung Influencer.
2. The Prizes are not transferable. No substitution, cash redemption, or assignment of the Prizes are permitted.

Draw

The draws will be held by the Organiser as follows

Week 1 : On 27 September 2021 two draws will be conducted by the Organiser in relation to the posts made on the following Influencers Instagram accounts: Sarah Langa and Kendall Aberdeen’s, where eight winners will be selected in total (four winners will be selected in relation to each Influencer).

Week 2 : 01 October 2021 two draws will be conducted by the Organiser in relation to the posts made on the following Influencer’s Instagram accounts. Ulrich Janse van Vuuren and Kiara Kittner, where eight winners will be selected in total (four winners will be selected in relation to each Influencer).

Week 3 : 08 October 2021 three draws will be conducted by the Organiser in relation to the posts made on the following Influencer’s Instagram accounts: Dr Sivu Madikana, Melinda Bam and Seth Shezi, where twelve winners will be selected in total (four winners will be selected in relation to each Influencer).

Week 4 : 15 October 2021 two draws will be conducted by the Organiser in relation to the posts made on the following Influencer’s Instagram accounts: Grant Hinds and Kokie Chipane, where eight winners will be selected in total (four winners will be selected in relation to each Influencer).

Week 5 : 22 October 2021 nine draws will be conducted by the Organiser in relation to the posts made on all nine Influencers Instagram accounts and a total of nine winners will be selected.
