** These areas include materials science and manufacturing, natural, physical and environmental sciences, information and communications technology, biosciences and engineering.
** The CSIR Scholarship Programme aims to build capacity through the training of students in key research areas, scarce skills areas as well as emerging research areas.
** Through the programme students are not only exposed to science in a research environment, but are also granted access to equipment, facilities and research material as required.
Who Can Apply :
** If you are a postgraduate student, enrolled full-time at UCT, Wits or UJ, you are eligible for a CSIR Scholarship.
** We invite students studying at Honours, Masters and PhD level to apply.
How To Apply :
** Applications must be done through the universities as the CSIR does not facilitate the scholarship application process.
** Application forms and more information about scholarships can be obtained from the postgraduate funding office of each of the universities.
