** Find your dream item on Gumtree and stand the chance to win 1 of 4 exclusive Gumtree weekly prizes, and/or the ultimate grand prize of R100k!

All you have to do to complete your entry is as follows :
** Visit .Gumtree.co.za or open your Gumtree app and search the site to find your ultimate dream item.
** Your dream item can be anything found on the Gumtree site – within any category and of any price.
** Post the Gumtree link or app screenshot to our Facebook wall or in a tweet using #DreamFind & tell us why this is your dream find.

** Each participant may enter multiple times to increase their chances of winning.
** Each weekly prize is valued at approximately R2,500 each. The prizes each week are as follows:
** On 14 November, Gumtree will draw a winning entry from all of the entries across the four weeks to win the grand prize.
** The grand prize winner will win R100k cash.
** Get creative!

** This promotion starts on the 17th of October 2016 and ends on the 13th of November 2016.
** The dates of each weekly contest are set out above.
** Winners will be drawn and contacted via social media to verify their information, then subsequently contacted telephonically.

Rules/Terms & Conditions :
** By participating in the Gumtree South Africa Dream Find competition (the “Competition”), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below (“Rules”).
** The Competition is facilitated on the online advertising platform provided to you by Marktplaats BV (“Gumtree”).

** A copy of these Rules are available online at blog.gumtree.co.za (“Competition Website”).
** You may not participate in this Competition if you do not agree to be bound by the Rules, and if you do participate in this Competition, doing so will be confirmation that you agree to these Rules.

1. Background :
** Gumtree is running a promotion on gumtree.co.za(the “Gumtree Website”).
** Any entrant who follows all the Rules and enters in the manner as provided below in paragraph 4 How to Participate), stands a chance to win

** one of 4 weekly Gumtree prizes.
** the Grand Prize which is R100,000 cash.
** Winners of the weekly prize draw will be contacted first via social media and then via telephone.

** On 14 November 2016 all of the entries from the Competition Period will be aggregated and the winner of the Grand Prize will be drawn and will be contacted first via social media and then via telephone.
** The winners of each weekly prize will be announced via the Gumtree South Africa social platforms, i.e. Facebook and Twitter.
** All winning entrants will be chosen at random.

Competition Period :
2.1. The Competition commences on October 17th, 2016 at 12:00:01 a.m. South Africa Standard Time (“SAST”) and ends on November 13th, 2016 at 11:59:59 p.m. SAST (“Competition Period”). The competition period for each of the weekly promotions is as set out in the table in clause 1.2.1 of these terms.
2.2. No entries received after the Competition Period will be accepted.

3. Eligibility To Participate In The Competition :
3.1. In order to be eligible for participation in the Competition which will be run for the Competition Period, a potential entrant must as at the date of entry to the Competition:
3.1.1. Be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa;
3.1.2. Be 18 years or older;
3.1.4. be willing to divulge his/her name, age and, mobile telephone number; and other specified personal information in electronic and any other form by Gumtree, for the purposes of the Competition;**

4. How To Participate :
4.1. You are required to visit the Gumtree Website at .gumtree.co.za, m.Gumtree.co.za, or one of the official Gumtree South Africa Android, Blackberry, or iPhone mobile apps (‘Applications”).

4.2. To enter the Competition, entrants must :
4.2.1 find one or more ads on the Gumtree Website or Applications;
4.2.2 post the link to Gumtree South Africa’s Facebook or Twitter pages, using #dreamfind; and
4.2.3 include as part of the post an explanation as to why that/those particular ad(s) is/are their dream find(s)

Entries must be submitted and received by Gumtree before the closing date for the relevant week of the Competition Period as set out below :

5. Entry Submission Requirements:
5.1. By Submitting An Entry, You Agree That The Entry (And Each Individual Component Thereof) Complies With All Conditions Stated In These Rules.
5.2. The Released Parties (Defined In Paragraph 6 (Licence) Below) Will Bear No Legal Liability Regarding The Use Of Your Entry Or Any Component Thereof.
5.3. The Released Parties Shall Be Held Harmless By You In The Event It Is Subsequently Discovered That You Have Departed From Or Not Fully Complied With Any Of These Rules.
