Langeberg Municipality Waste Removal Service
The Municipality is responsible for a healthy, clean and safe environment. We ensure that the five towns of the Langeberg Municipality is kept clean, that daily refuse is collected and the waste disposal sites and recycle plant are properly managed.

How To Recycle?
Did you know that up to 40% of your household waste can be recycled and reused.
In 2010, the Langeberg initiated the two bag system. The black bag is used for none recyclables household waste and the clear bag for recyclables. Put clean recyclable items into your clear recyclable bag; leave it out on your pavement on waste collection days or on top of your wheelie bin.
Do not place your recycle bag inside the wheelie bin. The municipality will collect your clear bag on waste removal days. The clear bags are available on request at all municipal offices.
