** The Bride of the Year is seen on the fashion ramp at the end of the competition, where each of the 12 finalists get to be a princess for a day again!

General Terms and conditions :
** Entries must include the completed entry form and a low resolution photograph of the bride.
** Entries must be of the bride on her own. Photographs not conforming to this will not be considered for entry.
** Brides may enter only once.
** Entrants must be married to enter the competition; proof will be required.
** Entrants must have tied the knot between 01 June 2016 and 31 July 2017.

** No hard copy photographs will be returned to the entrant.
** Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged.
** All entrants must be prepared for their name and photograph to be made available to the media.
** The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

** The winners of each month will be the Bride of the Month and will compete to be voted Bride of the Year at the end of the competition. All 12 finalists must be available to attend the finals in the respective city.
** Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.

** All prizes must be collected from the organiser; if collection not an option, winners can collect their prizes at The Wedding Expo.
** All prizes are subject to individual terms and conditions from the sponsors, are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Voting for the Bride of the Month :
** Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
** Each month, finalists will be published in the newspaper where after the public will be able to vote for their favourite bride by SMS charged at R1.50.
** SMS numbers will be published in the newspaper each month.
** he votes will be counted and then announced in the following month’s Bride of the Month page.

** The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this competition.
** The entrant accepts that entry to the competition does not constitute a contract or any form of legal commitment between the entrant and the participating newspapers and sponsors.

The each month’s finalists will be announced as follows :
** Finalists and winners will be announced by email
** Finalists and winners will be published in the newspaper
** Finalists will be posted to Facebook
** Finalists will be announced to our mailing lists by inclusion in the monthly newsletter to brides and industry.
