Job Specification :
As an Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer, the incumbent will be expected to :
** Lecturer at an under- and postgraduate level in the Quantitative Finance in the Department of Finance and Investment Management.

** Conduct research in the field of Quantitative Finance and regularly publish in accredited academic journals.
** Perform administrative duties as instructed by the HOD or Programme Manager.

** Participate in identified communities outreach projects.
** Publish extensively, including in high-impact accredited journals.
** Supervise graduate post graduate students, and may assist in supervising or collaborating with postdoctoral fellows.

As a Lecturer, the incumbent will be expected to :
** Lecturer at an under- and postgraduate level in the Quantitative Finance in the Department of Finance and Investment Management.
** Conduct research in the field of Quantitative Finance and regularly publish in accredited academic journals.

Minimum Requirements :
In applying for an Associate Professor Position :
** An appropriate Doctorate Degree (NQF 10) in the field of Finance and/or Quantitative Finance or a relevant equivalent qualification, plus proven research results (scholarly publications in reputable journals and participation in academic/professional conferences).

** An appropriate track record, plus lecturing experience, together with research papers/publications.
** Extensive record of accredited research output.
** Record of scholarly activity.
** Experience in the supervision of students.

In applying for a Senior Lecturer Position :
** An appropriate Doctorate Degree (NQF 10) in the field of Finance and/or Quantitative Finance or a relevant equivalent qualification, plus proven research results (scholarly publications in reputable journals and participation in academic/professional conferences).

In applying for a Lecturer Position :
** An appropriate Master’s Degree (NQF 9) in the field of Finance and/or Quantitative Finance or equivalent.
