1. I joined GEMS in August. Since then, I am struggling to get my doctors medicines registered on chronic. I am a combined kidney and liver transplant patient. In fact, I should be on PMB. Every time, I call I am transferred from pillar to post with no success. I was with Bonitas for over twenty years and never experienced such poor service.
2. I have spoken to the call centre three times. My problem is still not solved. Explained my problem twice through phone and asked to speak to supervisor. I was refused to do so. I had to do explain my problem again and after holding on for 17 minutes, he came back and said he sent e-mail to a supervisor to contact me. I gave my cell number as I knew I was not in later the the day. Then somebody phoned the practice and said she did not know what my problem is! I am desperate to solve this problem.

Hi I Sent an email to change the Dr cause are recently moved to a new town with no response

REFUND
My mother was a member of GEMS, she then died in 2015. GEMS deducted after she died for more than 10 months from her account (Pensioner), East London London requested me to submit all required docs in Nov 2019 for refunds up today waiting. I visit GEMS office every Fridays since and they lied every Fridays telling me that their National Office is the that is not assisting. In old days GEMS was not like this isandla sethu siyacaca xa sikhona.

I send a E-mail on the 20 November to upgrade to EMERALD. I received an E-mail from
enquiries office that I should apply for upgrading before 13 December 2019.
I resend my E-mail of the 20th November 2019 to enquiries for upgrading to EMERALD but did not receive any reaction from the offices yet.
My application to upgrade to EMERALD is now outstanding for more that 2months!!!
Please help me to finalize this matter ASAP.
