Music Scholarships :
** Redhill School is pleased to offer a limited number of Music Scholarships to internal and external applicants entering the School in Grades 8, 9 and 10 in 2018.

** The value of these part scholarships is at the discretion of the School, while the duration thereof will depend on the grade level the successful applicant enters in 2018.
** Scholarships are awarded on the condition that the recipient will at all times honour the Vision, Mission Statement and Values of the School.
** Recipients of a Music Scholarship are further expected to contribute, as and when needed, to musical activities undertaken by the School; they will also be required to continue in their chosen instrument for the duration of the Scholarship, as well as participate in the wide range of opportunities available at the School.
Scholarships may be granted to those applicants who demonstrate outstanding musical ability by meeting the following criteria (required from ALL applicants) :
** The applicant’s standard of performance must be at or above Grade 4 level;
** The applicant must display the potential to act as a positive role-model to fellow students and peers in all musical programs;
** The applicant must supply evidence of current (within the past two years) in-school and out-of-school musical achievements as well as consistent ensemble participation.
** Please list all achievements and provide documentary evidence, e.g. photocopy of certificates, medals, etc.
** Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an audition and may be invited to attend an interview with the Executive Head and the Head of Music; however, attending such an interview does not constitute an offer of a scholarship.
** Applicants for Music Scholarships are not required to sit the examination for an Academic Scholarship; however, they may do so if they wish.
** Please note that only one type of Scholarship can be held at any time.
