What is the Amended Senior Certificate Examination (ASCE)?
The Amended Senior Certificate Examination is a qualification equivalent to the National Senior Certificate that is designed for adult learners who did not complete their high school education or who wish to improve their matric results. It is recognized by employers, universities, and colleges.
Who is eligible to write the ASCE?
The ASCE is intended for adult learners who did not complete their high school education or who wish to improve their matric results. You must be 21 years or older on the day of the examination and have attempted Grade 12 at least once before.
What subjects can I write for the ASCE?
You can write any of the 29 subjects that are offered in the National Senior Certificate examination.
