Monash South Africa Scholarship :

Application requirements :
** The Monash South Africa scholarship process occurs twice a year in November and May.

The closing date for applications is as follows :
Semester One Intake : 15 November
Semester Two Intake : 30 April
Note :
** No late applications or supporting documentation will be accepted.

To apply you need to :
** Complete the application form;
** Sign the declaration;
** Attach all relevant supporting documentation as specified; and
** Return to the Student Fees Officer by the closing date.

Eligibility and supporting documentation :
** Monash South Africa scholarships are available to South African and International students.
** Scholarships are offered to students to encourage and reward academic excellence in previous studies.

What does academic excellence mean?
** Current Monash students with a General Point Average (GPA) of 3.3 an d above
** Commencing students with an Achievement Level of 40 an d above.

Eligibility criteria :
To be eligible for a Monash South Africa scholarship you must :
i. be enrolled or have received an offer to enrol as a full-time student at Monash South Africa in an undergraduate course of study leading to a higher education award;
ii. not be a recipient of any other financial support award;
iii. be studying Year 12 or equivalent (South Africa citizen) or be studying in the final year of secondary school or equivalent (international); or
iv. be a current Monash South Africa student and have completed a minimum of one semester of study at Monash South Africa;.

Supporting documentation :
** Certified copy of Identification document/Passport;
** Certified copy of latest academic results (if your final Grade 12 results are not yet available we will assess based on your Grade 11 or record exam results and issue a Conditional Offer pending you final results).

** If you do not supply all required supporting documentation you application will be rej ected immediately.
