What is Dr. Oetker Back to School Competition?
The Ital Pizza, Dr. Oetker Back to School 2025 Competition is organised and run by Dr. Oetker South Africa (Pty) Ltd. This Competition is limited to all residents of the Republic of South Africa who are aged 18 years and older. Participants stand a chance to win 1 of 40, R2500 cash prizes. All Finalists will be notified by telephone within two weeks of the draw. The Competition commences on 06th January 2025 and runs until Midnight on 6th February 2025.

Eligibility of Dr. Oetker Back to School Competition
Dr. Oetker Back to School Competition is limited to all residents of the Republic of South Africa who are aged 18 years and older, and who comply with these Competition rules (“Participants”), except directors, members, partners, agents or employees of Dr. Oetker, any Dr. Oetker holding companies and subsidiaries, their advertising and promotions agencies, consultants, and their immediate families, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Dr. Oetker.
How To Participate in the Dr. Oetker Back to School Competition?
The Competition may be entered by:
** Purchasing any 2 of the following Ital Pizza products: “Participating products” which are the Ital Pizza Margherita Slices, Ital Pizza BBQ Chicken Slices, Ital Pizza Bacon and Cheese Slices, Ital Pizza Cheese and Tomato Minis, Ital Pizza Hawaiian Minis, Ital Pizza Bacon and Cheese Minis, Ital Pizza BBQ Chicken Minis and Ital Pizza Spare Rib & Bacon Minis only.
** Scan the QR Code or enter with the Whatsapp number +27872405363
** Follow all the prompts until a successful entry response is shared. Data rates apply for entry into the competition.
Competition Rules:
** To participate in the Competition, “the participant” is required to purchase any 2 of the “Participating Products” from the Ital Pizza Mini’s and Slices range, scan the QR Code or enter via the Whatsapp number and follow the prompts until it has been confirmed the entry has been successful. Data rates apply for entry into the competition.
** Participants stand a chance to win 1 of 40, R2500 cash prizes.
** All Finalists will be notified by telephone within two weeks of the draw.
** Should the finalists not be contactable after 3 reasonable attempts, the Competition organisers reserve the right to replace this finalist with an alternative Participant.
** To be confirmed as a winner, finalists will be required to provide proof of identification as well as proof of purchase of the “Participating Products”.
** Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Promotional Period, provided they purchase the required products outlined in clause 5 for each entry.
** Participants who have won with Dr. Oetker within the last 183 days, or are living at the same address as a previous winner, will not be permitted to win a prize in this competition.
** Should the Promoter suspect any fraudulent activity the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participants from the Competition.
Prizes of Dr. Oetker Back to School Competition
** The potential winners will be selected via audited Draws.
** The Finalist has 3 working days to provide the required documents otherwise they will forfeit their prize and the promoter will move on to the next finalist.
** If the finalists do not satisfy any of the entry requirements, they will be disqualified, and another finalist will be selected in their place.
** The prize is 1 of 40, R2500 cash prizes.
** The winner selection is final; no correspondence will be entered.
** Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for other goods or services.
** Participants must enter the Competition on a mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop that is owned and registered by that person.
** No person can use another person’s mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop for Competition entry purposes.
** This rule has been implemented to avoid fraud and possible litigation between the mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop owner and the Competition entrant.
** Dr. Oetker will not accept liability for entries that were not received due to any technical or service provider error or failure.
** By entering this Competition, all entrants authorise Dr. Oetker, the Promoter, to collect, store and use (not share) the personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.
