What is Khobab Wind Farm Bursary?
Khobab Wind Farm invites bursary applications for 2025 from prospective and current students at public and accredited private South African institutions of higher learning (TVET Colleges, Universities of Technology and Universities). Applicants must live in Loeriesfontein and must be South African citizens. Last date of application is 30th November 2025.

Only applications from present students at South African public tertiary institutions of higher learning, or students who will commence with their study programmes in 2025, who live in Loeriesfontein will be considered.
Bursary Details of Khobab Wind Farm Bursary
The value of the bursary will be determined on an individual basis and may be used to cover the following study-related cost items:
** University tuition fees, registration fees and examination fees
** Accommodation in a university residence or equivalent
** Meals
** Learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.)
Selection Criteria of Khobab Wind Farm Bursary
A limited number of bursaries will be allocated to the most deserving candidates in terms of the above criteria. Applications for Honours and B Tech degrees, and other post-graduate qualifications, will be assessed in terms of whether the added qualification will enhance an applicant’s chances to find employment.

Khobab Wind Farm achieved its Commercial Operations Date on schedule and on budget, as part of the third round of the South African government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme. Khobab Wind Farm received support from the local municipality and surrounding communities during the construction phase and into operations.
A number of economic development projects, aimed at contributing to sustainable community growth through financial and non-financial community development involvement. During the operations, a monetary commitment has been made to specifically developing enterprises and improving the socio-economic welfare of the community for 20 years.
