How To Apply For UFH Admission?
The University of Fort Hare 2025 Application Cycle is now open.Application fee is R120. Declaration by Parent/Guardian for Minor Applicants must accompany all applications by prospective students under the age of 18.

Eligibility of UFH Admission
Undergraduate:
** To be eligible for admission to degree study, applicants need to meet minimum requirements for eligibility:
** Applicants holding a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) need to pass a minimum of 4 subjects at a rating of 4 (Adequate Achievement, 50-59%) or better in any four 20-credit NSC subjects.
** Applicants holding a South African Senior Certificate need matriculation endorsement.

** Declaration by Parent/Guardian for Minor Applicants must accompany all applications by prospective students under the age of 18.
** Closing date for all Undergraduate Qualifications is Thursday, 31 October 2024, no late applications will be accepted.
Postgraduate:
The admission requirements for postgraduate study vary from one programme to another. You are advised to download the Postgraduate Study Guide to find out what is required for the course or degree that you want to take. Closing date for Honours, Masters & PhD students is Friday, 29 November 2024, no late applications will be accepted.
