General Cargo:
General cargo are articles, day to day items, material, goods carried onboard an aircraft, tendered with an airwaybill for carriage by air. With more than 40 direct flights and an average of more than 2 flights a day on our direct network, we deliver your cargo daily, we understand the concept of time sensitivity, and you can have your cargo within 2/3 hours.

We offer a tailor-made specific service for emergency shipments or consignments, we have an in-house product “FAB” fly as booked, to ensure that cargo is planned for fast yet smooth and safe delivery to any of our direct network routes. Dangerous Goods:
Dangerous goods are substances or articles which can pose an immediate hazard to people, property, or the environment.Airlink cargo Offers specialized solutions in the distribution of dangerous goods in a safe and responsible manner. Our knowledgeable, experienced, and qualified personnel ensure fast and efficient preparation of dangerous goods including loading and unloading.

Proper training of all our personnel in dangerous goods is of vital importance to ensure that the hazards posed are understood and everyone involved is competent to perform the functions for which they are responsible.

Airlink cargo is part of the IATA “International Air Transport Association, we abide by the IATA standard of shipping dangerous goods by air. To ship dangerous goods with Airlink cargo, dangerous goods must be appropriately prepared and meet the dangerous goods regulations standards.

Side Note:
Dangerous goods packers are agencies that assist with properly identifying dangerous goods, and standard quality packaging in accordance with IATA regulations. Each hazardous material shipment must be accompanied by a Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods and Air Waybill document.

Live Animals:
The comfort, safety, and security of your pet is of utmost importance to us, therefore our trained staff will ensure that the necessary care is taken when transporting your precious cargo. Pets must have a water bowl and bedding for absorption. They should be able to stand up with reasonable space between their head and the roof of the crate; they should also be able to comfortably turn around in their crate.

Inoculation – Animals above the age of 3 months must be inoculated against Rabies, this should be done annually. There is a waiting period of 7 days (if they are older than 1 year) or 14 days (for 1st-time inoculations or if they are between 3 & 12 months) after their rabies inoculation, prior to the pet travelling.

It is mandatory to attach at least one IATA “Live Animals” label or tag, properly completed, to each container housing a live animal. In addition, “This Way Up” labels must be placed on all four sides of the container in the upright position.

Snub nose dogs, such as Boxers, Bulldogs, Pekinese and Pugs, are affected more than other breeds by rarefied atmosphere and care must be taken to ensure that the front of the container has open bars from the top to the bottom of the box for ventilation. It is essential that the animal be free from respiratory troubles.

Vulnerable Cargo:
Vulnerable cargo can consist of various equipment or sensitive goods that need special attention and protection. All valuable and vulnerable cargo will need to be booked well in advance.
