GPF Financial Analyst Internship
The Financial Analyst intern is expected to work with the Manager: Treasury and or delegated official and will be responsible for identifying the costs and managing the budget of a building project from outset to completion. Internship for a period of 12 months.

Key Performance Areas of GPF Financial Analyst Internship
The candidate is expected to deliver on the following detailed key performance areas:
1. Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
2. Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
3. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
4. Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes
5. Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data
6. Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis
7. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends
8. General Duties:
a) Analysing targets.
b) Meeting with department heads.
c) Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
d) Providing back-office services
9. Teamwork:
a) Ability to work closely with others
b) Being pro-active in assisting others
c) Contribution to business unit meetings and brain storming sessions
d) Mentoring and coaching of interns and peers
10. Adhoc duties:
a) Assignments from the CEO and CIDO as and when required

Requirements of GPF Financial Analyst Internship
** Relevant Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Investment, Financial accounting, or other related fields at NQF level 6
** Ideally: a relevant NQF 7 degree/qualification
** No work experience in a related field.
** The applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
