** Each myconnect card costs R35 from station kiosks and some shops.

How To Use Your MyCiTi myConnect Card?
Your myconnect card is your ticket to ride. Once you load money onto it you simply tap in and out to pay your fare. There’s no time wasted trying to find cash or to get change – simply tap your card at the start and end of your journey – and enjoy seamless travel.
Tap in to start your journey:
Tap in by holding your myconnect card against the validator as you enter a station or board a bus.
Tap out to end your journey:
Tap out by holding your card against the validator as you leave the station.
Don’t pay a penalty:
Make sure you use a validator correctly. You will be charged a penalty if:
** You don’t have enough money for your trip.
** You forget to tap in and out.
** You tap the wrong validator.
The penalty for the first two times is R15, thereafter the penalty is R30, but R90 at the Airport.

Load Mover points from R20 :
Load Mover and pay for the distance you travel, grouped into distance bands. You save even more by starting your journey outside the morning peak fare period (Mon-Fri 06:45-08:00 and 16:15-17:30) or anytime on weekends and public holidays.
Mover packages are available in amounts of: R20, R35, R50, R60, R80, R100, R150, R200, R300, R400 or R600 from station kiosks, Absa cash-accepting ATMs and some retailers. The points loaded are valid for three years from your most recent load.
