Standard Shows

** Apart from the Grand Finale, all episodes to be broadcast on Fridays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be referred to in these terms and conditions as “Standard Shows”.

** All qualifying entries received before 24:00 on the day that is two days before the day that a Standard Show is scheduled to be broadcast (e.g. by 24:00 on Monday for Standard Show broadcast on Wednesday), will be entered into a draw to select one participant who will win a cash prize, the value of which will be announced during the Standard Show in respect of which the draw is done.

** Participants will be selected by random draw, and all the draws in respect of each Standard Show will take place at the Promoter’s premises (6 Tetford Circle, Umhlanga, Durban).

** A draw will take place in respect of each Standard Show, on the day before the day on which that Standard Show is scheduled to be broadcast. For the sake of clarity, it is recorded that the draw will not take place during the Standard Show, only the name of the winner and the amount of the cash prize will be announced during the Standard Show.

** Unsuccessful qualifying entries will be carried forward, and will be included in each subsequent draw (apart from draws done in respect of Bonanza Nights, dealt with below, but including the draw done in respect of the Grand Finale).

** The first draw will take place on Sunday, 14 January 2018 with the last draw on Tuesday, 3 April 2018.

** The participant selected during each draw done in respect of a Standard Show will be called by the Promoter via telephone and asked to be ready to watch the Standard Show at 20:29 on the following day, to see the amount which he or she will win. If the Promoter cannot reach the drawn participant after a minimum of 3 (three) phone call attempts over a 1-hour period, an alternative participant will be drawn.

** There will be one prize-winner per Standard Show, each winning a cash amount of between R5 000 and R20 000 per Standard Show, which cash amount has been predetermined for each Standard Show.

** Winning participants will be informed on the applicable Standard Show of the cash amount which they have won, and within 48 hours after the Standard Show has been broadcast, the Promoter will call the winner via telephone to request the winner’s banking details and a copy of his or her identity document or passport.

** Calls may be recorded for verification and possible audit purposes. Cash prizes will be remitted by electronic funds transfer into winners’ nominated bank accounts within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt by the Promoter of the winner’s correct banking details and a copy of the winner’s identity document or passport.

** Winners have 5 (five) business days from being contacted by the Promoter in terms of clause 18, to submit their banking details and a copy of their identity document or passport to the Promoter to claim their prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

** If the Promoter cannot reach the winner to confirm his or her banking details and obtain a copy of his or her identity document or passport, after a minimum of 3 (three) phone call attempts over a 1-hour period, the winner will forfeit the prize.

Bonanza Nights

** Every Thursday night is a “Bonanza Night”. Each amount won during a Standard Show from the previous Friday to Wednesday will be matched, totalled and banked.

** The 4 winners from the previous Friday to Wednesday’s Standard Shows will be entered into a draw to select from those 4 people, the person who will win the banked amount. The exception will be the draw conducted on Thursday 18 January 2018, when there will only be three winners who will stand a chance to win.

** The winner will be selected by random draw, and all the draws in respect of each Bonanza Night will take place at the Promoter’s premises (6 Tetford Circle, Umhlanga, Durban).

** In respect of each Bonanza Night, the draw will take place on the day on which that Bonanza Night show is scheduled to be broadcast. For the sake of clarity, it is recorded that the draw will not take place during the Bonanza Night show, only the name of the winner and the amount of the cash prize will be announced during the Bonanza Night show.

** The first draw will take place on Thursday, 18 January 2018 with the last draw on Thursday, 5 April.

** If not already done in respect of the cash prize won by the winner during the applicable Standard Show, the Promoter will within 48 hours after the applicable Bonanza Night show has been broadcast, call the winner via telephone to request the winner’s banking details and a copy of his or her identity document or passport.

** Calls may be recorded for verification and possible audit purposes. Cash prizes will be remitted by electronic funds transfer into winners’ nominated bank accounts within 30 (thirty) days of the date on which the applicable Bonanza Night show was broadcast, or within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt by the Promoter of the winner’s correct banking details and a copy of the winner’s identity document or passport, whichever is the later.

** If not already provided to the Promoter, winners have 5 business days from 20:30 on the date on which the applicable Bonanza Night show was broadcast, or 5 business days from being contacted by the Promoter in accordance with clause 27, whichever is the later, to submit their banking details and a copy of their identity document or passport to the Promoter to claim their prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

Grand Finale

** All qualifying entries received before Friday, 23 March 2018, at 24:00, will be entered into a draw to select 3 participants who will stand a chance to win the Grand Finale cash prize of R1 million.

** The 3 participants will be selected by random draw, which draw will take place on Saturday, 24 March 2018, at the Promoter’s premises (6 Tetford Circle, Umhlanga, Durban).
** The Grand Finale will be broadcast on Friday, 6 April 2018, but will be pre-recorded on Tuesday, 27 March 2018 and Wednesday, 28 March 2018.

** The 3 participants selected will be called by the Promoter via telephone and asked whether they will be available for the recording of the Grand Finale in studio at 24 Richards Drive, Midrand, Gauteng, on Tuesday, 27 March 2018 and Wednesday, 28 March 2018. All expenses will be covered by the Promoter for each participant to attend the Grand Finale recording. Should a participant not be able or willing to attend the recording of the Grand Finale, or be in a position to send a representative in his or her place, an alternative participant will be drawn. In addition, an alternative participant will be drawn if after a minimum of 3 (three) attempted calls over a 1-hour period, the Promoter cannot reach the initial drawn participant. The same processes will apply to any drawn alternative participant.

** The draw to determine which of the 3 participants will win the R1 million will take place during the recording (Tuesday, 27 March 2018 and Wednesday, 28 March 2018) of the Grand Finale at 24 Richards Drive, Midrand, Gauteng, with all 3 participants witnessing the draw.

** The winner will be selected by random draw. The winner will win R1 million with the other 2 participants each winning R25 000 and R10 000 respectively, as a consolation prize.

** In order to claim their prizes, a Grand Finale participant must submit to the Promoter his or her banking details and a copy of his or her identity document or passport, within 5 (five) business days of the date on which the Grand Finale is broadcast, otherwise they will forfeit their prize.

** Cash prizes will be remitted by electronic funds transfer into a Grand Finale participant’s nominated bank account within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt by the Promoter of his or her correct banking details and a copy of his or her identity document or passport.
